Commissioning a survey is a simple and economical way to avoid unpleasant and costly surprises after moving in. Renegotiation of the purchase price following the advice in the report may easily cover the cost of the survey. Once your report is ready we ask that you come to one of our London offices to discuss the report in detail with the surveyor who carried out the inspection. We have found that this is the best way to work as not everyone can understand some of the technical terms included in building surveys. Why should you be expected to? We find that many more of our home surveys result in a purchase because we take the time to explain every defect in detail and make suggestions on how it can be dealt with. All of our reports are extremely comprehensive and include colour photographs of any defects noted. We offer a comprehensive design service for all planning and building regulations works and we enjoy coming up with a design with our client and seeing it through from planning to the end result. We will also obtain quotations from building contractors known to us to carry out remedial work, should you need it, for electrical, damp, roof repair, heating etc. This then gives you the confidence to complete the conveyance knowing the price that the remedial work will cost.
We also carry out party wall inspections as Agreed Surveyor or Building Owner's surveyor.
